Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 26, 2026
SaveTime Launcher ("SaveTime", "we", "our", or "the app") is designed to help users reduce screen time and use their phones more intentionally.
We respect your privacy and aim to keep data collection to a minimum.
1. Data Stored on Your Device
SaveTime processes and stores its main app data locally on your device.
This includes information such as:
- your daily screen-time goal;
- screen-time usage information used by SaveTime;
- Saved Time statistics;
- launcher settings and preferences;
- selected favorite apps;
- hidden apps;
- reminder settings;
- other settings required for SaveTime to operate.
This data is not uploaded to our servers.
SaveTime does not require you to create an account or sign in.
2. Screen-Time and App Usage Information
SaveTime may request access to Android's usage access functionality in order to calculate screen time, determine when to switch between Normal Mode and Simple Mode, and generate Saved Time statistics.
This information is processed locally on your device.
SaveTime does not upload your app usage history or screen-time history to our servers.
3. Firebase Crashlytics
SaveTime uses Firebase Crashlytics, a service provided by Google, to help us identify crashes and improve app stability.
Firebase Crashlytics may automatically collect technical diagnostic information when the app crashes, including:
- crash stack traces;
- relevant application state at the time of the crash;
- relevant device information;
- a Crashlytics installation identifier.
This information is used only for crash reporting, troubleshooting, and improving the stability of SaveTime.
We currently use Firebase Crashlytics with its default configuration and do not intentionally attach personal information, user-entered text, app usage history, or user account information to crash reports.
4. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
SaveTime does not intentionally collect or upload:
- your contacts;
- messages;
- photos or media files;
- clipboard contents;
- precise location;
- search text entered in SaveTime;
- reminder phrases you create;
- your complete installed-app list;
- detailed per-app usage history;
- advertising identifiers;
- payment card information.
5. Third-Party Services
SaveTime currently uses Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting and app stability monitoring.
Other than the technical diagnostic information described above, SaveTime's main app data remains stored locally on your device.
6. Data Security
Data stored locally by SaveTime is protected by the security mechanisms provided by Android and your device.
Crash diagnostic information sent through Firebase Crashlytics is transmitted using secure network connections provided by Firebase.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Local SaveTime data remains on your device unless it is changed or removed by you, cleared through Android system settings, or deleted when the app is uninstalled, subject to Android's backup and restore behavior.
Crash reporting data handled by Firebase Crashlytics is managed according to Google's Firebase data retention and deletion practices.
8. Children's Privacy
SaveTime is not specifically designed to collect personal information from children.
Because SaveTime does not require an account and does not intentionally collect personal content, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own servers.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when SaveTime's features, services, or data practices change.
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date shown at the top of this policy.
